Our day 4 in Taiwan started a little later. We woke up late and even missed the hotel buffet breakfast. We were pretty shagged by then, so day 4 will be a little easier.
Since we didn't had breakfast, we decided to dine at some nearby Japanese Restaurant, 2 minutes walk from our hotel.
We walked in casually as what you normally do when you want to have Japanese food in Singapore. However, we were stunned when we look at the menu.
ITS ALL IN CHINESE!!!!!!

Every freaking thing is in Chinese, not a single English word, not a single picture.
Bf end up asking the owner whats good there, and just serve us whatever is nice.

Small sushi for starters.
Appetizer. Some sour seaweed thingy.
Our Pork Katsudon!
Steam Egg!
Maguro and dont know what sashimi!
Mini Steamboat with udon and seafood inside.
Bf's love. Tempura!
End up that is what we had. After settling the bill, we left for the Jiantan station (劍潭站). I remember lunch cost us around NT$400 odd, which is less than SGD$20. For all those food that we ate, it freaking cheap can! Still got sashimi leh! But to be fair, the food is just so so, not that nice either.
If you are unsure how to walk over to the TRA after you alight at Taipei Main Station. Dont worry!! Its very simple, follow the signboard and just look out for TRA. Its really easy, you have my word on it.

We got to Taipei Main Station(台北車站). From there, connect underground to TRA (Taiwan Railways Administration) and take the western line to Keelung Station (基隆). Journey is approx 1 hour.

This is the list of stops. From Taipei to Keelung. You should have a better understanding when you see this. By the way, Keelung is the last stop of the western line, so we actually slept a little in the train. Hehe!
Thou the train looks old, but its still pretty clean inside!
So here we are at Keelung!
We are at the bus station trying to figure out which bus to take to the Gold Ecological Park. But we end up taking cab instead to save time!
Cab fare wasn't cheap. It cost us NT$600(SGD$26). About 30 minutes drive. But the uncle was nice, thou we ask him to drive us to the Gold Ecological Park. He actually detour to some tourist spots for us to take photos! By the way, the cab fare is fixed price not by meter. :D You can negotiate with the uncle or if not you can just ask him to switch on the meter.
So this is called the Ying Yang Sea (阴阳海)! The sea is naturally two colours! I think is due to some copper deposits in the sea.
Quite pretty right?
Next, he drove us to this Huang Jin Waterfall (黄金瀑布)!
Thought this one was still okay, I prefer the Ying Yang Sea more.
So here we are finally! The Gold Ecological Park (黄金博物院区) ! If you are taking bus, bus fare will cost you NT$55 (SGD$2.30). Proceed to the main entrance of Gold Ecological Park (黄金博物院区) which is a short walk away from the bus stop.
Please take note of the opening hours. You dont want to be there when it is closed.
Bean curd eating place.
Then we paid some money to experience gold miners life!
We will be required to put on a helmet for safetly purpose!
Look clearly. Bf is in the picture. Haha! This tunnel experience is quite boring actually. But its cheap la, can just go in and see if you have the time.
The Museum of Gold(黄金博物院). The super duper big piece of gold which everyone take photo with!
We bought a small bottle of gold from the gift shop because we missed the gold panning experience. It was closed when we got there. Bf thought that buying the gold will comfort us a little. Hahha.
If you are interested in this activity. Actually your should go because it looks really really fun! Sucks that we missed it. They will even give you the bottle of gold which you panned.

Opening hours : Closed at 3 pm.
If you still have time, you may visit the Residence of Mike Kikujirou (三毛菊次郎宅), Crown Prince Chalet (太子宾馆) and Ruins of Gold Zen Temple for a spectacular view!!
We left the place then and head over to Jiu Fen(九份). Took their public bus! :D

The night view. By the time we reached there its already 6pm plus I think. If not, i think this photo will be nicer! No more sunset!!!
Our dinner! Some fishball mee sua or something!
Dinner.
Feeling exhausted from all the walking.
We took a bus straight back to Taipei Station after that and from there we cabbed back to hotel. Depending on how you want to travel back, up to you man!
Our purchases from Jiu Fen! Lots of jelly! Oh, the jelly are so yummy! But so freaking heavy. Luggage nearly over weight. We bought pineapple tarts and Tai Yang Bing and some tea leaves too!
Second part purchase from Shilin Night Market. Told you we go there everyday. Watches are relatively cheap. NT$200(SGD$8.80) each!!

We then went to collect out High Speed Rail tickets for tomorrow from Family Mart, the convenience store near our hotel!
