Day 3 is a day where Bf look forward to even before we left for Taiwan. Because he gets to go to the Digital mall to satisfies all his gadgets urges! Today is a very tiring day for us. We plan to go to 4 places but however strike out the last one as we very super duper tired already. You will read about it later in the post anyway. :D
So for starters, we went to the Miniature Museum (袖珍博物館). It is one of the hardest place to get to as you will need to take a bus and the train.
So anyway, alight at ZhongShan Station(中山站) and walk to the nearest bus stop. From there, change to Eastbound Bus 306, 288 or 266 from Nanjing W. Rd. Alight at Jianguo - Nanjing Intersection, the fourth stop.
If you are really unsure where is Jianguo - Nanjing Intersection, just count. 4 stops remember!!!
Here is a map.
The part where is circled it is where you will be alighted. Get your bearings right and walk all the way downwards toward Point A. That is where the Miniature Museum is located.
If you are still confused. The two pictures above is the buildings where the museum is located. Keep a look out of these structure. You should be able to locate the museum there.
Just bear in mind that the museum is located in the building itself, keep yours eyes open if not you might miss it.
So here we are at the entrance. Some important information you might want to know before you plan this place of interest into your itinerary.

All the photos before are the showcase of the miniatures in the museum. They are so pretty okay. I am very impressed by the people who made those things. It is really simply amazing.
Even the mirror is real!!! :D
The chandelier! Look at the details man! I am seriously impressed! You gotta appreciate those people who actually manually made those things.
I like the way Bf take the pictures. Very nice.
The Roman ruins.

Take the same route back to ZhongShan Station(中山站). It shouldn't be too difficult. Then take take the train and alight at ZhongXiao XinShen Station (忠孝新生站). Its only 2 stops away, relatively nearby, probably approx 6 minutes travel time.
A: ZhongXiao XinShen Station (忠孝新生站), B: GuangHua Digital Plaza (光華商場)
Take a short walk over. First of all, before you leave the station, find out which exit to leave by to cut down on a lot of unnecessary walking. I am sorry, i do not remember the exit number. :(
So here we are, the boys' heaven!!!!
Bf happy face after we finish our shopping. I only bought one thumbdrive and he bought numerous stuffs. However, don't keep our expectations too high. If you are used to Simlim in Singapore, you will be disappointed at the place. Guanghua is the largest gadget mall in Taipei, but it is so much smaller that Simlim and has so little things.
But nevertheless, we had a great time draining our wallet dry there.
The next place we went to is Taipei 101(台北101). Take a train over to Taipei City Hall station (市政府站), exit No.2. Proceed to bus stop right outside the station for the free shuttle bus service.
Service is available from 11am to 9pm.
Every 15 minutes on weekends, and every 20 minutes on weekdays.
I saw many people who went there took a picture of Taipei101 this way. So we have to do it too. heheh.
We had our dinner at the foodcourt first, since we were starving and we wanted to wait for sunset! Read online that sunset is very beautiful up there.
Bf ramen!

So here we are, queuing to get into the observatory.
The outdoor observatory.
It was so cloudy that day, so cant see much of a sunset. So disappointing. Maybe you guys will have better luck than us. :~

After we left the outdoor observatory, we went to see the super wind damper. The most important structure that keeps the building stable despite standing so tall!
Snapping photo of this path! But we never take any photos of the damper. Don't know why. :p
We left the place shortly, nothing much to see also. Then we went to collect out bags from the locket downstairs! If you are lazy like us, you can do the same too. Hehehe!
Travel back to hotel after Taipei 101. Actual plan was to go to Wu Fen Pu(五分埔), the wholesale retailer market in Taipei. Heard that there is a lot of super duper cheap clothings there.
But we were so exhausted after 3 full days of running, so we decided to just strike that out of our itinerary.
Just in case, you guys are superman so intend to go shop till you drop, here is the information needed to get there. :D
Take the train to HouShanPi Station (後山埤站). Leave the station by Exit 4 and walk north along Zhongpo N. Rd. to the intersection of Zhongpo N. Rd. and Yongji Rd, approx 5 mins walk.
Map: Getting from HouShanPi Station(後山埤站) to Point A (WuFenPu 五分埔)
So if you are there already, try the Lu Rou Fan (胡须张鲁肉饭). Read from a lot of forums that it is really yummy!!
Point A: Raohe, Point B: WuFenPu
If you are still going strong, and don't mind more shopping. You may visit the Raohe Street Night Market (饒河街觀光夜市).
We are that time that prefers more relax time for holiday rather than rushing around trying to comb all the places of interest. So here we are, back at the hotel, snapping photos of our purchases!!
Look at how many memory cards and thumbdrive Bf bought! We got some vitamins and treats for our doggie too!
Bought supper! Pasta from some shop downstairs our hotel. It is called Pasta Panda.
Cheap guotie!! They are so good!!
Bubble tea to complete the meal!
As usual, we have to go to shilin night market. We go there everyday!!! Got the monster beat earphones. Although, the shop keeper keep insisting that those are real, Bf tried it and said that it is the fake one. But, we still bought it as it look good and sound quality isnt that bad either.
We bought it for SGD$45, actual retail price is about SGD$100 odd i think!
Day 4 soon!!
Gold Ecological Park (黄金博物院区) and JiuFen Old Street (九份老街)!!!
